InNon-oxidizablechemokine-HMGB1allcysteinesarereplacedwithserines:thesereplacementspreservechemoattractantactivityinvitroandinvivo,eliminatethecytokine-inducingactivityandmaketheproteinresistanttoinactivationbyROS.
